The project

The Cité de Loisirs is located in the heart of Courbevoie Paris, an important recreational pole in the French city. Its function is to transform this area in an urban island with the aim of becoming the city for leisure. Inside there are several buildings with dedicated areas such as a café, offices, recording studios, a gym, a soccer and rugby field, a play area for children and several parking lots. The whole project has been studied according to a circular principle. In fact, a block ring surrounds the entire stadium, while maintaining transparency and contact with adjacent urban space.
